# Configuration

The **Configuration** section contains three pages that control how matches are sorted and what coverage is applied across the broadcast schedule. Each page shares the same layout — a JSON editor on the left and a live hierarchy preview on the right — but manages a different aspect of the broadcast setup.

### Sort Configuration

Controls the display order of sports and tournaments in the schedule. Define which sports and tournaments take priority in the broadcast lineup.

### A/V Configuration

Specifies which tournaments have Audio/Visual coverage. Matches in listed tournaments are marked as A/V-covered in the schedule.

### Virtualization Configuration

Specifies which tournaments are supported for virtual LMT (vLMT) coverage. Matches in listed tournaments are eligible for the virtual live match tracker broadcast.

## How the Configuration Editor Works

All three configuration pages share the same editor interface. Understanding it once lets you work with any of the three configs.

### Left Panel — JSON Editor

The left panel contains a JSON text editor pre-loaded with the current saved configuration. Edit the JSON directly to adjust the configuration. The editor accepts plain JSON — no special syntax or wrapping is required.

### Right Panel — Hierarchy Preview

The right panel shows a live hierarchy tree of **Sports → Categories → Tournaments** that reflects your current license. Use it to browse available content and to verify that the IDs you are entering in the JSON editor are valid.

> **Fetching the Hierarchy**
>
> Click **Fetch** to load the sports and tournament hierarchy from the API. Click **Refresh** at any time to reload the latest data. The tree expands to show categories and tournaments under each sport.

The hierarchy panel respects your license — sports or tournaments that are not in your license are shown as not licensed and cannot be selected.

### Validating and Saving

1. **Edit the JSON**

Modify the configuration in the JSON editor. The editor does not auto-save.

2. **Validate**

Click **Validate** to check the JSON for syntax errors and structural validity before saving. A success message confirms the configuration is valid. An error message describes what needs to be corrected.

3. **Save**

Click **Save configuration** to persist the changes. A success toast confirms the save. If saving fails, an error message is shown.

> **Warning**
>
> Clicking **Save** without first validating is not possible — the save button is disabled until the configuration has passed validation.
